Current Application Versions
Each time you log into a BankTEL application, our automatic updater checks to
see if you're running the latest version of our software. If you're not running
the latest version, you will be prompted to download and install an update. If
you have checked your login screen for your version number (pictured below) and
have discovered that you're not running the latest version, one of the following
situations may exist...

Tight Security
Some of our customers' security policies make it necessary to restrict
update downloads to their IT department. If your automatic updater has been
disabled for this reason, your IT department has been given instructions on
checking for new updates and applying them manually. If your software version is
not current, please notify your IT department.
Connection Issues
For our customers with slow internet or network connections, you may have gotten
in the habit of exiting out of the automatic updater so you wouldn't have to
wait for it. If your connections are unusually slow, try logging into an
application just before you leave for lunch or a meeting and let the updater
run. This may save you unnecessary problems which could take up more of your
time later on.
Unresolved Errors
Finally, if you are getting any kind of error message associated with your
automatic updater, please call our technical support line at 662.245.1007 and
let one of our technicians help you resolve the error and get you the latest
version of our software.
Please Note: Frequent IRS changes make it necessary to update our
software more often this time of year. Please check your software version before
running any year end options.
